Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, back in January I suffered a shoulder subpluxation wrestling. I got an MRI and everything was good. I still have pain in my shoulder. I have been doing my shoulder excerises for awhile now. Ive been back to lifting for about a month, is that the reason? Please help I really want to get back to wrestling
Yes, a subluxated shoulder is always at risk of recurrence unless a joint repair is done surgically. A recurrence can occur especially on lifiting weights and overuse. I would recommend you to see a sports injury specialist to guide you better on this. Till then I would advice to keep shoulder exercises to a minimum and staying away from lifting. Hope this information helps you. Thank you.
